Newsletter 6th November

We are now an academy!

On Wednesday 1st November, Nightingale officially joined the Maritime Academy Trust.  This should hopefully mean no significant change to the way in which Nightingale operates.  It may mean a change to some of the policies and procedures that we follow.  What is important is that the values and ethos of Nightingale do not change.

Thank you to all parents who met with teachers last week.  I hope you found it useful.  If you have not yet met with your child’s teacher, please speak to Steph to arrange a time to meet.

Thank you to Lisa Risby and all the adults who helped make the Halloween disco a success.  Thank you to all the parents who supported the school.

A very warm welcome to Mrs Tao and Mr Liu. Both teachers are visiting us from Shanghai in China.  They have come to observe how we teach maths and to learn a little more about the English education system.

Please be advised that we do not authorise time off for children for holidays during term time.
