Welcome back to another term at Nightingale Primary School. I do hope that you all had a good break and have embraced the new challenges and opportunities 2018 will bring for all of us.  The children have settled in well to the new term and are already engrossed in their new topics and learning.


Each week, the school adults observe the children to ensure they are working hard and displaying our values.  The winners this week are

Welcome to Mrs Andrea Rantell

Mrs Rantell has joined us this term as our new Special Needs Coordinator.  She will be working with us on Wednesday , Thursday and every other Tuesday.  She has already begun to get to know the children and identify ways in which she can best support them to achieve their full potential.


School Uniform

Several children have returned to school not wearing the correct uniform.  Please ensure your child wears a red school jumper or cardigan, white shirt, school tie, dark trousers/skirt and black shoes.

Children should not wear jewellery or make-up, including nail varnish, to school.


Looking for animal care

Would you be able to look after the school rabbits or guinea pigs over the weekend or holidays?  If so, please speak to Lisa Risby.
