Film Night

We have arranged a film night for all children on Friday 22nd September.  We will be showing ‘The BFG’.

 Mr Jennings is going away

Mr Jennings is going to be in China for the next two weeks.  He is going to visit schools in China to look at how they teach maths.  We look forward to his return and hearing all about his adventures.

This week, the Punctuality Award was given to Reception!

Bicycle safety

Year 5 had a great time last week learning how to be safe while cycling around the busy roads.  Thank you to Mr Rogerson and the staff from Bikeability for their time and patience.

The Florence Nightingale Award

The Florence Nightingale Award has been given to Kyle Taylor in year 1 for his kindness to his friends.  Well done Kyle!

It’s hard to believe that we have only been back for two weeks.  The children have all settled into their new classes well and are all enjoying their learning.  Our PTA have also started to meet to discuss ways in which they can support the school and raise money.  If you are interested, there is a meeting on Tuesday 19th September at 2pm.  If you want to find out more about ways you can help support Nightingale, please speak to me or Lisa Risby.
